A new summer Sevens tournament for friday nights with 12 top rugby teams begins tonight, in which the J.P Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Series sees the clubs competing for the finals.
The finals will be held on the 6th August, but clubs must first take part in three regional sections, concluding with the runners-up and winners qualifing for the last game.
The matches will each last 7 minutes and be available to watch on ESPN.
At 7.30pm tonight, Harlequins, Saracens, London Irish and London Wasps will compete at the Twickenham Stoop.
Next friday sees Leicester, Leeds, Newcastle and Sale play at Tigers' Welford Road, and Bath, Gloucester and Exeter will end the qualifiers at Northampton on the 30th July.
