The Grand Prix driver Mark Webber has announced his regret over things said on the teams radio after he felt his Aussie team mate Sebastian Vettel had been given better treatment. Vettel was favoured over Webber, which caused him to state 'not bad for a number two driver' on the teams radio, claiming if he was aware Vettel would be favoured for the spot he wouldn't have signed a new contract with the team.
He has now stated on his website that 'my dissappointment on Saturday after qualifying spilled over into Sunday. Of course, things get said in the heat of the moment which, with hindsight, probably shouldn't have been said. My comment on the radio was an example of Australian sarcasm. We've moved on.'
Let's hope Vettel feels the same after successfully taking the chequered flag.
